Terms of Service
Agreement governing use of neuralcraftlab.life and enrolment in NeuralCraftLab training programmes.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Student," "User," or "you") and NeuralCraftLab, operating at 715 King Street West, Suite 408, Toronto, ON M5V 1W5, Canada (business number BN 834729156RC0001). By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, or enrolling in any programme, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Services description
NeuralCraftLab provides non-credit professional training in neural network development and related technologies. Our services include open cohort programmes (NCL-001 through NCL-009), corporate upskilling, pathway advisory, lab rental, and related educational activities delivered primarily in person at our Toronto campus.
Education disclaimer: NeuralCraftLab is a private vocational training provider. Our programmes do not constitute a university degree, college diploma, professional engineering licence, or any government-regulated credential. Completion of a programme does not guarantee employment, salary level, or career advancement. Outcomes depend on individual effort, prior experience, and labour market conditions.
2. Website use
You may use neuralcraftlab.life for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Attempt unauthorised access to our systems, servers, or lab infrastructure
- Transmit malware, spam, or harmful code
- Scrape or harvest content for commercial redistribution without written permission
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Interfere with other users' access to our services
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate website access for violations of these Terms.
3. Enrolment and eligibility
Programme enrolment requires acceptance of these Terms, payment of applicable tuition, and satisfaction of published prerequisites. Students must be at least 18 years of age or have written parental consent. NeuralCraftLab reserves the right to decline enrolment or remove students who disrupt the learning environment, violate lab policies, or fail to meet conduct standards.
Enrolment confirmations are sent by email upon receipt of payment. Programme schedules, instructors, and content may be updated with reasonable notice. Material changes entitle enrolled students to a full refund if they choose not to continue.
4. Tuition and payment
Tuition fees are published on our website and in enrolment materials as of the 2026 training year. All prices are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment is due according to the selected plan: full payment at enrolment or instalments on the schedule provided. Late payments may result in suspension of lab access.
Corporate clients receive invoices under separately executed agreements. Payment terms, volume discounts, and customisation scope are defined in corporate contracts, which supplement these Terms.
5. Refund and cancellation policy
Individual programme refunds follow this schedule:
- Before programme start date: Full refund minus a $75 processing fee if cancelled more than 14 days before start; 50% refund if cancelled within 14 days of start.
- After programme start: Prorated refund based on unused scheduled lab hours, minus a $250 administrative fee, until the programme midpoint.
- After programme midpoint: No refund.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Approved refunds are processed within 15 business days to the original payment method. NeuralCraftLab is not responsible for bank processing delays.
Programme postponement due to instructor illness, facility issues, or force majeure events will be rescheduled at no additional cost. If rescheduling is not possible within 60 days, students may elect a full refund.
6. Intellectual property
All course materials, lab briefs, slide decks, code templates, assessments, and website content are the intellectual property of NeuralCraftLab or its licensors. Enrolled students receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use materials for personal learning during and after the programme. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly publish course materials without written consent.
Code and projects you create during programmes remain your property. By participating in capstone presentations, you grant NeuralCraftLab a non-exclusive licence to reference anonymised project descriptions in marketing materials unless you opt out in writing before presentation day.
7. Lab conduct and facilities
Students must comply with lab safety guidelines, acceptable use policies for GPU workstations, and respectful conduct toward instructors and peers. Food and beverages are permitted only in designated areas. NeuralCraftLab is not liable for personal belongings left on premises. Damage to equipment caused by negligence may result in repair charges.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, NeuralCraftLab and its directors, instructors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or participation in programmes, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the tuition fees you paid for the programme giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NeuralCraftLab from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of our facilities, infringement of third-party rights through your capstone projects, or your negligent conduct during programmes.
10. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Toronto, Ontario, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Consumers in Ontario retain rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002, where applicable. Nothing in these Terms purports to waive statutory rights that cannot be waived.
12. Attendance and completion
Students are expected to attend all scheduled lab sessions. Absences exceeding 20% of programme hours may result in failure to complete unless make-up sessions are arranged with instructor approval. Certificates of completion are issued only when all assessments, including capstone presentation for NCL-009, meet minimum rubric standards. NeuralCraftLab does not issue incomplete certificates or partial credentials.
13. Force majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, utility failures, or labour disputes. During force majeure events, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver services remotely or reschedule in-person sessions. Extended interruptions exceeding 90 days entitle students to a pro-rata refund for undelivered services.
14. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. These Terms, together with enrolment confirmations, corporate contracts, and incorporated policies (Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and NeuralCraftLab regarding the subject matter herein, superseding prior oral or written understandings.
15. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting enrolled students will be communicated by email. Continued use of the website after non-material updates constitutes acceptance.
