Programme catalogue — 2026

All programmes run in-person at our Toronto campus unless noted. Select a programme below for duration and entry requirements.

001

Tensor Foundations & Autograd Craft

Build shape intuition through progressive exercises. Implement manual backprop on a two-layer network before touching nn.Module.

Duration: 4 weeks · 48 lab hrs Prerequisite: Python basics Tuition: $1,890
002

Data Pipeline & Feature Engineering Lab

Bridge raw tensor skills and applied vision work through pandas pipelines, feature stores, and reproducible experiment tracking.

Duration: 3 weeks · 36 lab hrs Prerequisite: NCL-001 or equivalent Tuition: $2,190
003

CNN Craft Lab — Vision from Scratch

Implement convolutional layers from first principles, train on real datasets, and evaluate with metrics suited to imbalanced classes.

Duration: 5 weeks · 60 lab hrs Prerequisite: NCL-002 Tuition: $2,690
005

Sequence Models & NLP Workshop

Tokenisation, embedding layers, and sequence-to-sequence architectures before students encounter transformer blocks in NCL-007.

Duration: 4 weeks · 48 lab hrs Prerequisite: NCL-003 Tuition: $2,890
007

Transformer Architecture Deep Dive

Implement scaled dot-product attention from first principles. Fine-tune a small language model on domain-specific Canadian text corpora.

Duration: 5 weeks · 60 lab hrs Prerequisite: NCL-005 Tuition: $3,490
009

Capstone Forge — Production Deployment

Design, train, and deploy an end-to-end model solving a real problem. Culminates in a presentation and written technical documentation.

Duration: 6 weeks · 72 lab hrs Prerequisite: NCL-007 Tuition: $4,250

Featured lab blocks

PyTorch training session at the lab bench

NCL-001 — Tensor Foundations

Build shape intuition through progressive exercises. Implement manual backprop on a two-layer network before touching nn.Module. Graduate with a documented lab notebook proving you understand what autograd records.

Transformer module session in the craft lab

NCL-007 — Transformer Deep Dive

Implement scaled dot-product attention from first principles. Trace positional encodings, multi-head attention, and layer normalisation. Fine-tune a small language model on domain-specific Canadian text corpora.

Tuition & payment plans

Individual students may split tuition into two or three monthly instalments at no interest. Payment plans available for all programmes. Corporate teams may request private cohort scheduling through our services team.

Enrolment & forge access

Every programme includes weekly code reviews, a mid-point skills checkpoint, and access to open forge hours on Saturdays. Weekend forge hours are included with every programme. Alumni retain access for six months after NCL-009 completion.

Not sure where to start? Book a free pathway advisory session. We map your current skills against programme prerequisites and recommend an entry point — even if that means self-study before NCL-001.

Each programme publishes a detailed syllabus on enrolment. Syllabi list weekly lab objectives, required pre-reading, assessment rubrics, and capstone milestones.
